Premier League   All 10 games were played on Sunday simultaneously to determine each team's final position. The main focus was who misses out on Champions League football next season. Liverpool will play in the Champions League next season after a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace with Sadio Mané scoring a brace while being Roy Hodgson's final game as Crystal Palace boss. Chelsea lost 2-1 to Aston Villa at Villa Park with Edouard Mendy sustaining an injury which leaves a doubt for next week's Champions League final. Fortunately for Tuchel and Chelsea, they will play in the Champions League next season because Leicester City missed their chance after losing 4-2 to Tottenham. Jamie Vardy scored twice for the Foxes but Goals from Harry Kane, Gareth Bale and an own goal from Kasper Schmeichel means that the FA Cup winners will be playing in the Europa League. Chelsea annihilated by City City continued their dominating form of latte with a hammering 6-0 win against Chelsea on Sunday at the Etihad. City went in front in just four minutes from Sergio Agüero and it was just the beginning. Pep's side scored three more in just twenty minutes which sealed the win already but it wasn't the end of it. In the second half, they scored twice with Agüero scoring from the penalty spot while Raheem Sterling completed an emphatic win, sending a message to their title rivals as they stayed on top having played a game more than Liverpool while Chelsea drop to sixth place after their worst ever Premier League defeat in history as Sarri now have to face the question. It has been one of the games a lot of people were waiting for. Manchester City, the team to beat following from their 100 points winning campaign last season, face-off against Liverpool, the team likely to challenge city for the Premier League this season on Sunday at Anfield. Hyped as one of the games of the season with the attacking flair of both teams, the charisma of Pep Guardiola and Jürgen Klopp and the world class players on both sides in front of a buoyant Anfield crowd. Both sides have started the season with both sides on 19 points from their seven games played in the league so far suggesting where the title challenge is this season. City are above just by goal difference making the game more important with the team that gets the three points will have the edge as the international break beckons. With European football taken place during mid-week, league action in the Premier League resumed with Matchday 6. Fulham played Watford to a 1-all draw at Craven Cottage at the 12:30 kick-off. Six games where played at the 3pm kick-off time which included Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City. Liverpool and Manchester City got easy wins while Manchester United dropped points against Wolves. Newcastle United against Crystal Palace was goalless, Leicester City beat Huddersfield 3-1 while Burnley got their first win of the season with a remarkable 4-0 win over Bournemouth. The last game was Spurs going to Brighton where they got back to winning ways with a 2-1 victory. Here are the four things from yesterday’s action. Wolves: Giant Killers?
