Unless you have been living under a rock or with no internet over the past 24 hours, you would have heard that Manchester United have sacked José Mourinho yesterday and have already appointed former Manchester United player Ole Gunnar Solskjær as their interim manager for the rest of the season. Now, the search for the next permanent manager has begun with some managers like Zinedine Zidane, Leonardo Jardim, Antonio Conte, Laurent Blanc and Maxi Allegri as the top picks to succeed Mourinho. However, one person that has been talked about a lot to take the Old Trafford job is Spurs Manager Mauricio Pochettino. When speaking on SkySports yesterday, Gary Neville spoke on Pochettino as 'the best candidate' for the United job for the following reasons. His promotion of youth, attractive brand of football and his ability to win games. The End of Mou at United

It was expected given the troubles Manchester United have had this season that José Mourinho will the managerial job at Old Trafford. Now after 17 games in the league season so far with 19 points off the top of the table, 11 points off the final UCL, 8 points off fifth place and a Round of 16 draw against PSG in February, Manchester United finally gave Mourinho the sack and now have to go back to phase one. For Mourinho, this will hurt a lot given how bad his second stint with Chelsea ended after winning the Premier League title the previous year. Going to Manchester United was still as a coup for both manager and the club to return to their glory days despite many questioning the appointment. While Mourinho is responsible for United's decline, it's not entirely on him. Giving Mourinho a new contract after his second season was bad ju

Here are the matches: AS Roma V FC Porto The least fancy fixture but still both teams will believe they have a chance of going through. Roma, who have struggled in Serie A this season, will be the happier side as they avoided better teams and are the favourites to go through. Porto will hope for a better showing as they knocked out by Liverpool last season 5-0 on aggregate with all five coming at home turf. Likely winners: AS Roma Olympique Lyonnais V FC Barcelona Barcelona are one of the favourites to win the competition this season and will fancy their chances against Lyon. Barça aren't dominating La Liga but their aim is winning the Champions League with Lionel Messi already on
